I recognize that there is causality to my life. That the current state of the world is a collective of individual contribution. When I examine my life in contrast to the billions of people on the earth it’s easy to just think that I am insignificant, that my actions mean nothing in the big scheme of things. I recognize the justification behind such an attitude, but I refuse to live by such a perception.

Thinking that my actions contribute very little to the state of the world is disempowering and takes away my ownership of the contribution that I add to the state of the world. To view myself and my actions as insignificant just takes away my responsibility for my actions and decisions, it enables me to discount the impact that I have every day on the world.

By not thinking that I am having an impact its makes it easy to just create waste, to burn through fossil fuels that pollute and heat up are atmosphere, to ignore a passing stranger, and to contribute to organizations and a living lifestyle that is destructive upon myself, the planet and others.

WE ARE POWERFUL, SO, SO, SO POWERFUL.

This is what we need to take responsibility for, this is what we need to acknowledge and own about ourselves. We don’t need to focus on what others are doing around us, we need to just focus on what we are doing, on the causality of are actions right now.  We can change the state of the world, we can save it from the impending doom of climate change and rid the suffering of inequality, but only once we all take individual responsibility for how we contribute to what is the collective state of the world.

Only by ending the ignorance of how non-powerful we believe ourselves to be can we take charge of how powerful we truly are! And in doing so we can direct the power of our existence towards transforming and changing the world around us.

by owning our own individual power and by taking responsibility for the causality of our actions. Within every moment, we have the power to move the world towards a brighter future. OWN THIS, EMBODY THIS, AND YOU WILL BECOME POWERFUL BEYOND MEASURE.
